Bupa Appoints New CEO for Insurance in the UK

Mr Alex Perry was appointed as the new CEO of Bupa Insurance in the UK last week after eight years in Bupa. Mr Perry was the General Manager for UK customers before he was promoted to CEO.

Mr Perry said “I am thrilled to become Bupa Insurance’s CEO. Investing in our own and our family’s health has never been so important, particularly at a time when the NHS is under so much pressure.

“Bupa’s success since its formation nearly 70 years ago rests on our absolute focus on our customers. I’m committed to championing their corner – whether it’s improving the experience we give them, making the case for removing Insurance Premium Tax which unfairly penalises people who are reducing the burden on the NHS, or getting a better deal for our customers with healthcare providers.
