CEGA Group Appoints Mike Flippance as Head of Retail and IPHI Services

CEGA Group, which provides medical and security assistance as well as risk and claims management, has appointed Mike Flippance as the head of retail and international private health insurance services.

The move further extends CEGA’s offering to travel and health insurers and complements its appointment last month of a head of corporate services.

Mike has overseen 25 medical assistance and travel claim offices globally in his most recent role as the Director of Personal Benefits at MAPFRE Asistencia in Madrid. Previously, he has also held various leadership positions at major insurance companies such as AXA Travel Insurance and AIG.

Bringing over 20 years' experience in the travel and health insurance sectors to CEGA, he hopes to “further embed best-practice solutions and develop our people: creating an unrivalled operation from which to service our retail and international private health clients and their customers."
