Meet Allianz Worldwide Care’s New CEO

Allianz Worldwide Care, an international private medical insurance (IPMI) leader, has announced its new CEO following the retirement of Ron Buchan. Ida Luka-Lognoné, a Polish and French citizen, is taking over the role of leading one of the world’s largest IPMI providers. 

For about 25 years, Luka-Lognonéhas established her name in the insurance industry. She held executive posts at Elvia Travel Insurance Group, Mondial Assistance Group and Allianz Partners. “Having worked in the insurance industry for almost 25 years, I understand the dynamic evolution of this sector and I find that hugely motivating and exciting,” Luka-Lognoné said.

Allianz Worldwide Care salutes Buchan for his immense contributions to the company. Under his leadership, Allianz became one of the largest IPMI providers in the world.
