Allianz MyHealth App Overhauls Claim Submissions within a Year

Allianz Worldwide Care is announcing the success of their health claims app MyHealth which was launched last year. MyHealth’s key features allows any Allianz Worldwide member to access their health insurance in their mobile phones and even send claims, process documents, and send invoices at the touch of a button. The app also features services such as ‘Find a hospital’ which allows members to locate the nearest hospital that is covered by their insurance no matter where they are in the world.

The app has gained enormous success by surpassing postal claims worldwide with over 60,000 downloads and over 100,000 claim submissions since its launch 12 months ago. Allianz Worldwide Care’s Head of Marketing Management, Susan Landers commented, “We are really pleased with the interest in the MyHealth app and whilst we had anticipated significant uptake, its success has exceeded all expectations. In just one year, digital claims submissions have overtaken traditional post submissions.”

She continued: “With a globally mobile client base, accustomed to operating in a digital landscape, it was a natural step for Allianz Worldwide Care to enhance its service offering for members. The early response to the MyHealth app is a clear demonstration of the demand for digital services, and we will continue to provide even greater value and convenience to our clients through this exciting medium.”

Allianz is one among other IPMI companies that are revamping the process of claims and health insurance management through various apps and technologies made available through mobile phones and tablets.
