Pacific Prime Releases Cost of Health Insurance Report 2017

 

 

Pacific Prime’s annual cost of health insurance report has been released. The report is entitled “Cost of International Health Insurance Report – 2017”. The data was taken from international health insurance data from ten major insurers that offer three levels of insurance plans in 100 countries around the world.

 

The report shows an average premium ranking in the countries surveyed showing an average premium price of USD 19,724 – USD 7,027. The four demographics used to generate this data are families, couples, individuals, and retirees.

 

US topped the rankings as the most expensive country for IPMI, followed by Hong Kong, Singapore, China, and Canada. Other important findings shown in the report are:

  • More Southeast Asian countries climbed to the top 20 of countries most expensive for IPMI
  • Singapore is now the 3rd most expensive country for health insurance
  • Dubai’s ranking dropped from 6th to 9th within a year
  • The cost of IPMI in the US increased by almost 14% this year
